Gunlom Waterfall Creek, Kakadu National Park

#3 of 22 in Parks in Kakadu National Park
Must see · Waterfall · Nature / Park
Cool off with a dip in Gunlom Waterfall Creek. Sitting at the base of Gunlom Falls, a 30-m (100-ft) waterfall in Kakadu National Park, the natural infinity pool provides expansive views over the park's verdant hills. Walk up to the site on a steep path, taking anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. You can go all the way to the top of the falls, which run as a trickle during dry spells and roar after rains, for the most commanding views. The pool makes a cameo in Crocodile Dundee, but no crocodiles actually reside here. Visit at sunset for the most striking scenery. Plan a Pine Creek trip in moments using our itinerary builder.
