  • We went for our first visit to Entally house when they had their open home and garden. Fantastic, and will be back for another visit soon.  more »
  • We spent an excellent night at the base for the Tasmanian walking company before leaving for the bay of fires walk. Comfortable, clean and convenient.  more »

  • Wonderful step back in time at the residence of the son of the woman who is on the A$20 note. Lots of lovingly restored displays, and a few that still need some tender loving care. A stroll around the gardens and coach house is a good idea, and the helpful staff and volunteers are passionate about the history of the region.
  • A fascinating example of life in the 1800s, complete with a soap opera story about one of the residents. Walk through the furnished house, stables, chapel and ornate gardens. The site is maintained by volunteers.
