Bronte Beach, Bronte

4.7
Nestled between the more famous Bondi and Coogee beaches, Bronte Beach offers a relaxed, less-crowded atmosphere for enjoying time at the shore. Energetic waves attract surfers, but you can bathe in Bogey Hole at the beach's southern end if you prefer calmer water. Stretch out on the clean sand and take a dip in the 30 m (100 ft) pool formed by enclosing a section of ocean with a concrete barrier. A paved footpath on the rocky cliff tops overhead leads to Bondi Beach to the north and Coogee Beach to the south. An adjoining park provides barbecues for grilling your own food.
