Come see the zoo The Crocodile Hunter helped build. Steve Irwin's parents, Bob and Lyn, started Australia Zoo as a reptile park. Money that Steve and his wife Terri raised from The Crocodile Hunter transformed the park into the pristine, 40 hectare (100 acre) wildlife conservation center it is today. Head to the Crocomuseum for an introduction to massive, sharp-toothed crocodiles. Feed kangaroos at Roo Heaven. Pet koala bears at Pat A Koala. You might even see a vet in action at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital. Arrange to visit Australia Zoo and other attractions in Beerwah using our Beerwah day trip site.

Fantastic place. Great facilities like the water park for the kids. Exhibits were the best out of the zoo's we've been too. Animals were active and all looked really healthy and happy. Toilets etc all very clean. Food and drink outlets every where which was great for a coffee fix or two! Food was good too.

You can see a lot of animals which are not only domestic also exotic, but in here what I want to say is just koalas are definitely cute. Also in this zoo, you can touch the kangaroos and wallabies freely. Besides the zoo have various amazing shows such as Tiger show, Crocodile show, koala show. They are so unique and wonderful!! Must see it. And you will definitely have a fun.
