True Blue Sailing offers two very distinct types of 2 day 2 night Whitsunday sailing adventures and escorts approximately 11,661 tourists each year to this heritage listed area. Our vessels, The Atlantic Clipper and New Horizon, offer a very similar itinerary with an emphasis on fun and adventure for all on board.
The Atlantic Clipper is renowned as the most popular charter boat in the Whitsundays and thrives on taking our guests on a truly memorable adventure. Atlantic Clipper's size, comfort and superior facilities are what makes her so desirable to visitors of the area. The Clipper accommodates up to 54 passengers and 6 crew, making her the biggest commercial vessel operating in the area. She boasts unrivaled facilities that are unmatched by any other boat in the Whitsundays. Her inflatable 8m water slide, water chute, dive platform and 12 person hot spa are massive selling points.
New Horizon is truly the best value for money vessel on the market. She is a stunning 21-meter traditional sailing vessel that has beautiful old-world charm with modern comforts such as air conditioning and accommodates up-to 32 passengers and 4 crew. She has a dive platform, slide, paddle boards and a movie room.
We instill a sense of fun in every facet of what we do by creating an atmosphere and culture that’s lively, engaging, and entertaining.
Our trips highlight the best of the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park by transporting our passengers in comfort to explore many of the 74 Cumberland Islands including the spectacular Ngaro sea trail, Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet.
Guests experience the natural environment first hand by participating in activities of sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving and bushwalking. Our Eco Guides, dive instructors and knowledgeable crew give commentary both formal and informal throughout the tours. These interpretive talks discuss flora, fauna, wildlife, eco responsibilities and the history of the area.

My partner and I had an absolute BLAST onboard the New Horizon 2 day 2 night tour. We started from Airlie Beach at 2pm and headed for Whitsundays where we had a beautiful sunset swim with the other..... more »

Overall great places to visit and activities including Banana Boat, Jet Boat, Paddle boarding, snorkelling & diving. Sadly the experience on the ship was not enjoyable at all and I’m a Scottish backpacker. My aim for this post is for the crew and management to see the areas that could be improved upon. Firstly the food.. I have never eaten more bread in my life.. literally every meal has bread and it’s very basic food, spaghetti for dinner, toast for breakfast and cheap cereals. By the end of the trip you just want to go and eat something nutritious.. Sleeping was a big problem onboard the New Horizon. The engine is an diesel motor and hums all night pretty loudly, easy fix for this is to offer everyone free earplugs. I saw most people didn’t get much sleep at all and 1 person caught a cold because the airconditioner is 30cm from his head all night on one of the bunk beds.. I really hope you are not the unlucky one. Staff where very rude and had an attitude of no respect or care for the customers and made fun of us instead of helping us. The main guide was often louder than the rest of the passengers combined and swore a lot. They also kept to themselves most of the time, smoking out the back of the boat. The skipper (Captain) barely came out to say hello until the end. The tour itself has so much potential, just change the main tour guide and the deckhand they are clearly too tired and the repetition of running tours.
Awesome crew, good food and an exciting itinerary. Of course the experience depends on the people you’re on board with but that’s a matter of luck in any tour. Definitely recommend
