Take a short and relaxing walk through dense mangrove trees at The Jack Barnes Bicentennial Mangrove Boardwalk. Starting as a muddy forest, the path slowly becomes a mangrove environment with trees rising up to 30 m (100 ft). Look for ant plants, basket ferns, and golden orchids as you stroll, but also keep an eye open for crocodiles. Explanations on two types of different trees are given on information boards and educational posters along the way. Remember to bring mosquito repellent.
