Vayots Dzor, is a province of Armenia. It lies at the southeastern end of the country, bordering the Nakhichevan exclave of Azerbaijan in the west and the Kalbajar District (de jure part of Azerbaijan, de facto controlled by the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) in the east.
