  Belle randonnée, qui grimpe fort en 2eme partie. Vaut les efforts déployés (prévoir 3h environ a vitesse modérée). Vue magnifique.  more »

  Nice hike, which climbs fort in part 2. Worth the effort (allow about 3 hours a moderate speed). Wonderful view.

  The trail of the Llac Blau is located in Escaldes-Engordany parish (municipality). It's a technical tour of very high difficulty, with a length of 21 km and a positive slope of 1,200 meters that is completed in about 9 hours. The Blau Lake has a surface area of 2.1 hectares. This hiking route leads through the Valley of Madriu, comprising a wide variety of natural habitats, which are an example of the ecosystems of the Principality. It's a circuit that begins and ends at km 6.2 Engolasters (from Escaldes-Engordany) Highway, next to a parking lot. We will find an informative poster that shows the way of the Matxos (GR 11), which is that we will continue. Start walking on plain along a wide track to Coll Jovell road. At this point continue along the path on the left, crossing zones of forest until you reach the Cap of les Agols. Once cross this Summit, and already down, enjoy an aerial view of the Lake Blau, destination of the walk. After resting in the Lake, return to the way of ascent in direction to the Madriu, following the yellow dots. When we find the GR, follow it towards the refuge of Fontverd. We will continue down the road of the Matxos, Coll Jovell and circuit of Les Fonts, where the route starts.

  Saliendo del parking de Sorteny en Ordino, nos dirigimos hacia el refugio de Rialb que está a unos 30 minutos andando tranquilamente.Cuando lleguemos al refugio de Rialb nos aparecen unos carteles que nos indican la dirección hacia la derecha que debemos seguir, a partir de este momento el terreno se vuelve ha inclinar dirección el Port de Siguer y el de Banyell. Al llegar al Port de Siguer, con algo más de 2400 metros de altitud, las vistas del lado francés son espectaculares, con el Estany Blau abajo a la derecha. Lugar muy recomendable.

  Leaving the Sorteny parking lot in Ordino, we head towards the refuge of Rialb which is about 30 minutes walking quietly. When we arrive at the refuge of Rialb we appear some posters that indicate the direction to the right that we must follow, from this moment the terrain becomes has tilt direction the Port of follow and that of Banyell. When you arrive at the Port of follow, with something more than 2400 meters of altitude, the views on the French side are spectacular, with the Estany Blau down on the right. Highly recommended place.
