Church of Sant Joan de Caselles is home to the tallest church tower in the region. This 11th-century Romanesque church features a three-story bell tower, Lombard windows on three sides of the upper two levels, and a Renaissance altarpiece devoted to St. John. Set in a valley, the church's view of the mountains is quite picturesque. Be sure to call ahead to see when the church is open for visitors.   • We stopped in the car park next to the little church. No other visitors in mid-May. We stopped for the motoring museum but were disappointed that it is closed on a Tuesday. Nonetheless, we were able.....  more »
